Summer Rhodes is a Licensed Master Social Worker whose passion for service extends well beyond the therapy office. As an Engineer with the Dodge City Fire Department, firefighter/EMT, and lead of the Southwest Kansas Dodge City 10-33 Foundation, she has dedicated her career to supporting first responders, military personnel, and communities during times of crisis.
In addition to counseling, Summer volunteers in search and rescue, serves Hospice of the Prairie through bereavement support, and provides social work services within a local school district. She also shares her love of animals through animal-assisted therapy alongside her therapy dogs.
Approach
Summer became a therapist because she felt called to help people through life's most difficult moments. Her firsthand experience as both a firefighter and EMT allows her to deeply understand the unique challenges faced by first responders, military personnel, and others who experience trauma.

Summer's approach is compassionate, direct, and solution-focused, emphasizing honest conversations, trust, and meeting people exactly where they are.
